Coffee Pot Re-Do

This was a really fun re-do. The coffee pot was a yard sale find for $1!
Spring thoughts were on my mind so I hit my stash of sticker decals and found these lovely bird and floral images. On to the pot they went. Some vintage lace and a vintage button top made the perfect finishing touches. So cute on a shelf! One of the inner "cups" was perforated to allow the coffee grinds to percolate. Fill the section with lavender and the pot becomes a beautiful potpourri holder. The compartments could also store tea bags, sugar packets, etc. Cute AND useful - bonus!

Shabby Bottles

Not much has been getting done around the house lately. I've been too busy tagging, glittering, gluing buttons and the like to get ready for the sale!

I love filling and decorating these bottles. I am scooping up empty bottles at every yard sale I visit.
Vintage lace, vintage buttons, vintage bottles and vintage inspired decals!

Isn't it amazing how a little paint and some decals can transform an otherwise unremarkable steel bowl?

A Few Garden Treats

Garden goodies ready for the Occasional Sale!
I am in love with this paint color. Picked it up last week - Glacier Blue! My husband says it's very Martha so I guess it must be a Good Thing! The ribbon flowers are so much fun to make and give me an excuse to use some buttons from my stash.

Sweet little bird on a silver plate trivet. The trivets makes great saucers for planters and the silver gives them some panache.

I Love Paris in the Springtime!!

Spent the day working on some junque for the shabby French section of the occasional sale.
Here is a sneak peek at a few of the items.

Ah, fleur de lis and the Eiffel Tower...who could ask for anything more?!

I blinged up this Paris sign with some vintage buttons.

Hard to resist vintage prints whether fabric or art!

The crown hurricane is painted a shabby cream - it will be super with a candle in it.
Check back as we feature other sale items in the days ahead.
I am so EXCITED!!!!

Vintage Inspired Occasional Sale

Well it's just about a month away and I am so excited to announce plans for our upcoming Occasional Sale!
The ever so wonderful Garden Gate in downtown Lebanon will be hosting our first Vintage Inspired Occasional Sale. This is such a wonderful opportunity and the realization of a personal goal I set for myself at the beginning of the year. You know how "I love it when a plan comes together". The shop will be a beautiful setting for our treasures and now I can only hope that folks do indeed show up?! I feel like the kid on the first day of school wondering if anyone will sit with me.
I'll post photos of goodies as we get closer.
For now the specifics are as follows:
Sale dates:
Saturday June 5th 10AM-5PM
Sunday June 6th 12PM-5PM
Location:
The Garden Gate
36 South Broadway
Lebanon, OH 45036
Come and make a day of it. Downtown Lebanon is so quaint and cute. Ice cream shops for a bite to eat, antique shops and little gems hidden here and there!
Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!
