Number Love

Possibly you heard the squeal of my tires as I slammed on the brakes yesterday afternoon.

Lovely, lovely metal number signs. In red!

I sent Captain America out to inquire as to the price. I know the guy who was selling them. I know he sees me coming and always ups the price. Always...

Haggling ensued and I spent more than I would have liked. But I was hooked and I knew that if I left them behind I would kick myself ever after.

Lucky for me I had some money from my not too bad (if I do say so myself) Junque Sale earlier in the day. Decided I could afford to treat myself and knew right where they should go.
Ah...this spot in the kitchen has been waiting for the right companions to the Fairbanks scale face, auction sign and tea bearing chefs tray.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by yesterday. The weather was a bit of a downer but we salvaged a decent day. We'll do it again in September!

The circle... the circle of junnnk. Sell one thing, buy another, as it should be. Jealous of those numbers. Fab!

Yup can see why you had to have them. I love them too.

Just had a lovely rummage through your blog. I'm in love with your lamp base and shade in a previous post. I've never seen a base like it, it's stunning.

Also, I'd love to be let loose in your garage. Wow, I'm impressed. Very impressed.

Love from your newest follower xx
