The heat has kept me from keeping up with showing off my finds. They are baking quite nicely in the garage - whether they are supposed to or not! As for me, I'm braving the heat and the traffic and FINALLY taking a jaunt to the World's Longest Yard Sale - the Route 127 sale. Five years in Ohio and this is my first time. My excitement knows no bounds.
Only going for one full day but surely I can fill the car in that amount of time?! Hope the Junque gods are smiling down on me.
Showing off a few recent finds here. These actually got washed AND put out on display. I'm currently infatuated with hotel china and serving pieces. It started with the teapot which says Hotel Cleveland on the front. A few weeks later I found the Hotel Van Cleve service at a flea market. I thought and thought and had that moment where I realized I would be forever sad if I left it behind.
Naturally I'm hoping to find some more on my trip!

Love your hotel china...congratulations on getting it put away already with the awful heat. I'm so jealous! I wish I lived closer to that awesome yard sale.
I did the Ohio part of the Longest Yard Sale last year and I did find some treasures. A few years ago before Ohio was added I started in Kentucky and was near hyperventilation over the treasures before I got 50 miles down the road. What a great way to spend the summer.
Have a great time at the BIG sale! I've never been, but can imagine how great it would be. Buy lots!
