It's Rednesday again! This time I'm sharing a vintage Davar Pixieware oil jar. For a short time we collected Pixieware but as often happens - we've moved on. I thought I'd post this before it's gone. It's currently on Ebay along with it's mate Mr. Vinegar.

I have never heard of Pixiware, but not you have make me really curious. This oil container is so cute and retro looking. I love it. My d-in-law would REALLY love it! A great Rednesday post.
Rarely I have seen things that look like this but I did not know the name pixieware. It would be something I would have in my kitchen. Cute.
Ive never heard of pixie ware! but it certainly is cute. I have lots of old collections that I dont collect anymore.. someday I'll have a good yard sale!

This is very rare collectable. I hope that you have a real bidding war over it.
So very, very adorable. Thanks for sharing!
My first visit to your blog and I really enjoyed it. I would love to do what you are doing. Roaming the country for neat things. I really like this oil jar. I have never seen one like it. I also joined your other friends as a follower. I am featuring you on my Pink Saturday post this Saturday. Our hostess, Beverly, suggest we share a new friend each week. Drop by Saturday and meet all the pink ladies.
Wouldn't she look adorable on a Christmas Eve table. Love her.

Personally, I never could get into this style, but I do like the red stripes!
I have never heard of Pixieware. I can't wait to do some research on these pieces. Thank you for giving me something new.
that's the cutest and craziest oil container i've ever seen!
I have never heard of Pixieware either. This oil container is certainly "different" hehehehe
Love the red though.
Happy Belated Rednesday!
