Rudolph With Your Nose...

Have you noticed all the brass hanging around thrift shops? Of course you have and more often than not you pass it by. I came across (ok, ok, actually my husband found this one for me but he just got to the aisle first!) this horrible brass sleigh last Friday. Hmmm...glitter perhaps?!
Ta da! Oh the magic of paint and glitter. She's got a whole new lease on the holiday season. And in the happy karma of the junk world I was able to pair her up with this fabulous reindeer that Shara over at Monkeybox was kind enough to send me when I won her giveaway. A junque marriage meant to last!
Inside I've placed a vintage Christmas corsage I picked up a while back at the Goodwill. Love the wee red reflectors which make it a nice match for Rednesday. Have fun visiting the other reds at It's A Very Cherry World!

Remember to stop by and enter my CSN store giveaway just in time for the holiday rush.

Great transformation! It looks so cute. I have found several brass treasures at GW.Everyone seems to pass them by but paint gives them new life.
Happy Rednesday, Annette

Yeah, I always take a pass on the brass! Your sleigh turned out great, and now I hope I see some Christmas-y brass stuff that I can transform too!
Happy REDnesday!

Great transformation!
Some people still do like the brass look of a traditional and elegant Christmas though!

Such a great transformation. I don't care too much for that brass but love how you transformed it.

Great transformation! Really brings out the shape of the sleigh, and looks great!

That is something that I would paint. But the glitter is a perfect idea.

I found a sleigh very similar to this one, I thought I'd use for my business cards at shows, I love the glitter!

Yep, I pass by the brass all the time. Didn't even think to paint it. Love the red flocked deer.
