So the question is would you buy this?
Here it is in my yard thus proving that I indeed would, and did, buy this army cot.
Major hose down was required - I hate when I get junque home and realize that the previous owners were smokers. The prime give away was the fact that my car begin to smell like cigarettes just in the short drive home! Remember folks, it's not a glamorous profession by any means.

Love it smells and all. Currently the cot has taken up residence on the deck where I'm hoping several days of sun and wind will aid in the decontamination process! I'm so excited to display this at shows next year.
In unrelated sugar coma news please note that I'm getting better. Today I waited until 1PM before raiding the kids Halloween stash. Really I am in awe of my self control!!!!

I would definitely buy that! For the right price of course. It seems perfect for summer, campy, cottage type use.
Maybe you can tell yourself it's campfire smoke... :-)
Very cool, but not sure I would have bought it. Hope the smell goes away soon!
You know I would have...
I probably would've bought it, but yuk! the smell! I hope the decontamination goes well.
If I'd have seen it, I'd have bought it! I spent the weekend with the teens from church, and I always bring my cot to sleep on, it's a new one, I'd love to trade it for a vintage one!
if I smelled smoke on it I would not have bought it otherwise its pretty cool
