Weekend Finds

Woo hoo. First estate sale of the year!!!!

Crafting junque, more fruit items, the biggest flower frog I've ever seen (although I think it is actually designed to sit in the mouth of a vase) and the Dark Tower game which is a HUGE score. And of course Christmas junque... The silver piece is a West Germany ornament (no, not a topper folks an actual ornament!) Flocked Santa figures in a row YIPPEE! What did you score this weekend? hi, visiting from atg.. i'm pretty sure it's my first time here. wondering about your "junque" blog name :) is it like fancy junque? have you seen bbc's "keeping up appearances"? there is a character, mrs.bucket, who insists it is pronounced *mrs.bouquet* -- anyway, a bit rambly. just wanted to say hi as i passed through.

Isn't that first estate sale of the year exhilarating? I felt that way on Sunday, going to the flea market for the first time this year! Great finds, especially the Christmas stuff. Never get tired of that!

You always find some neat stuff when you go out and about! If you ever want to hit some yard sales up this way, let me know- I always keep my Thursdays free. I hit one of my favorite estate sale companies today- they had lots of Quimper and antiques, but I passed. I wanted bargains. LOL

Great finds. I love the Christmas items. My best find this weekend was at a high school band yardsale where all the clothese were 10 cents each. I got 80 pieces of clothing for $8.00. Labels such as sag harbor, norton mcclaughlin and napa valley. Over 15 items still had their original price tags!!!
