Vintage Ornament Tree

In case it has gone unnoticed, unmentioned or unexplained I have a bit of thing for vintage ornaments... I realize that may be shocking in light of my most recent posts but I did want to put it out there!
Currently some of them are displayed on this reproduction feather tree in the entry where they make me silly happy.
Plastic candy canes and icicle prisms finish it off.
Found the bells at a church rummage sale a few years back and I'm always trying to figure out how to use them.
I won a few more boxes in an auction last week so I'll be adding more to the branches later today. Must stop. Must stop. At some point this poor tree is going to give up and fall over!

I think putting all the vintage ornaments on one tree is beautiful. Love it!

I love your tree! The round red ornament in the middle with the frosty layer of snow at top -- I grew up with those exact same ornaments and still have them. They were my favorites because as a non-skiing child, they made me think of little ski sweaters. Go figure, :-)

I love them too. They make me feel nostalgic, and happy and I like to think of all the Christmas's they have reflected.

No, must NEVER STOP. New ornaments don't have the same warmth & depth that vintage do. Several years ago I won a large hat box full of vintage ornaments at an auction. Every year my tree gets fuller & fuller. Soon you won't see the tree for the ornaments.

You can never have too many vintage ornaments! Your tree looks gorgeous and I really enjoyed seeing all the different ornaments you have.
I have a small collection and am always looking for more. I love the vintage tree toppers too but I don't seem to find many of those.
Have a great week.
